Our Story

After working years with other companies, Edwin Stairs started his own company in 1986.  He worked out of his garage on Woodmount Street with one employee and a dedicated wife that did the office work.

That one employee was Les Dykeman an apprentice plumber just starting in the trade.  Les is still with the company today.

Edwin worked hard and the business grew rapidly.  By 1992 more space was required and the building on St. Mary's St was constructed.  As many as 25 employees worked from that location with 11 trucks and vans on the road.

Edwin retired in 2016 and passed the business on to his son Rob Stairs who is currently running a staff of 23 people.
